JANANI SHIHARA

We visited Nuwaraeliya last monday with my family members by a van. We saw many estates, waterfalls, mountains , flower beds on the way . Those are very beautiful and give peaceful to us . Then we went to the Huggala botanical garden and we got our lunch there. we saw beautiful flowers at the garden. we enjoyed there a lot . we sang songs with playing guitar and I and my sister danced . Then we came back home at afternoon . That was an unfoegettable day in my life .   

  I have many hobbies. But my favourite hobby is reding books. Usually I am reading story books, magazines, short story books, articles and fairy tals.  I hate reading novels. because I have no time to read novels. And also  once in a blue moon I read newspapers. Reading books helps me to improve my knowledge day by day. It helps me to my studies as well. Reading makes a perfect man. And also my favourite book is ' Madol doowa ' .

  My Village is Dedigama. It belongs to Kegalle District. As I think It is  situated in 15 km far away from Kegalle. and also In the real sence of the word Dedigama is a very beautiful Village where there are Paddy fields, nice waterfalls, mountains, tea estates, rubber estates,coconut estates and two small lakes. Not only that our village is a historical and ancient place. That is because the 6th king Parakramabhahu was born in our village. That's why our village  has become a historical and ancient place.  I am glad to say that Today' A large stupa has been built at the birth place of king Parakramabahu. It is strange but true that foriengers and local tourists come to our village everyday to see it. 

It was an ordinary day as usual. As usual, I got up early in the morning and got ready to attend the lectures. An announcement about today's lecture had been posted in our university group. But I    thought it was just another lecture.  The lecture was taught by someone special that day. She was Ms. Malithi. I was listening to the lecture with great interest. I really felt a strong desire to learn English well. I felt increbly happy. Because I think It was a turning  point in my life. That's how valuable that lecture was. Even though it was an ordinary day, I think it was an unforgettable day in my life.Because after that  lecture, I really enjoyed lerning English.      

                                                   MY SELF .   My name with initials is R.W.M.J.S. Bandara .and also My initials stand for Rajakaruna Wanigasekara Mudiyanselage Janani Shihara. But, According to my Personsl point of view I think that  The best Part of my name is "Shihara".Because As far as I know It is an uncommon name, therefore I like it. But the problem is that My friends call me as "Janani".                          My Village is Dedigama. It belongs to Kegalle District.By the way There are four members in my family including myself. MyFather is Mr.Sunil Bandara,who is a Businessman. My mother is Ms . Kumari,and she does nothing but she is a good house wife. I have a one younger sister,her name is Geehansi. Actually she is still schooling.      ...
