My Village

 My Village is Dedigama. It belongs to Kegalle District. As I think It is  situated in 15 km far away from Kegalle. and also In the real sence of the word Dedigama is a very beautiful Village where there are Paddy fields, nice waterfalls, mountains, tea estates, rubber estates,coconut estates and two small lakes.

Not only that our village is a historical and ancient place. That is because the 6th king Parakramabhahu was born in our village. That's why our village  has become a historical and ancient place. 


I am glad to say that Today' A large stupa has been built at the birth place of king Parakramabahu. It is strange but true that foriengers and local tourists come to our village everyday to see it.

My Hobby

  I have many hobbies. But my favourite hobby is reding books. Usually I am reading story books, magazines, short story books, articles and fairy tals.  I hate reading novels. because I have no time to read novels. And also  once in a blue moon I read newspapers. Reading books helps me to improve my knowledge day by day. It helps me to my studies as well. Reading makes a perfect man. And also my favourite book is ' Madol doowa ' .
